Duties include working alongside our Lead Cheesemakers to train in basic cheesemaking, sampling/selling Golden Ears Cheesecrafters products, answering customer questions, and more!
Assistant Artisan Cheesemaker
FULL TIME POSITIONS, Tuesday-Saturday & Sunday-Thursday
In this position, team members will work alongside our Lead Cheesemaker and other production teams. Duties may include: heavy cleaning, operating industrial cleaning equipment, washing delicate cheesemaking pieces by hand with gentle care and strong attention to detail, sanitation and set up of production equipment, safe chemical handling practices, operating complicated equipment and paying close attention to detail, churning and forming butter, and once trained in the above, some daily cheesemaking and cheese handling and the potential for growth into more senior responsibilities.
