MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR: 

Born and raised in Maple Ridge, Rebecca Aitchison (fondly known as 'Mrs. A' to her students) has been creating art for as long as she can remember. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Art and Graphic Design, a Bachelor of Education, and a Master of Education in School Counselling with a focus on art and nature therapy. An experienced facilitator and instructor, she has led creative workshops and programs for a wide range of organizations and community groups. For the past eight years, she has been an Art Teacher at Thomas Haney Secondary School, where she inspires students to develop creativity, confidence, and self-expression through art.  Rebecca is excited to share her passion, expertise, and welcoming teaching style at our paint nights.
